Of course you are also welcome to start with private sessions, perhaps you have injuries,  or just want some time to familiarise yourself with the equipment and structure of classes. You do you and we will meet you there.

  • Wear something that you feel comfortable in and allows your body to move. For men, you may feel more comfortable with tight bike pants under shorts.

  • If you have been attending pilates pre pregnancy and have been cleared by your doctor you are welcome to join any class up to 16 weeks. After 16 weeks, you are welcome to stay in classes if you are comfortable and we will offer alternatives as much as possible. You may also wish to join mums and bubs classes too as they are all pregnancy and post natal friendly.

  • Pending your injury you may need clearance from  your doctor/ therapist. You are welcome to join classes if you feel that you are able to participate in a group setting. The classes offer different progressions where applicable. If you have an injury that prevents or really restricts your movement capacity then perhaps a group class may not be suitable and a private session would be more appropriate. • Due to the safety being of upmost priority we do have age limits in the studio. 16 and above are permitted to attend classes. Our preference is to have adults attend with them to begin with so we can collaborate with the parent if needed. If you are brining your child for “Mini and Me” classes these classes are mat based therefore we will allow younger children to participate as long as they are accompanied by an adult. For parents bringing children we do not have a creche service however if your child is happy to sit with an iPad or a book and wait for you during a class that is permitted however do ask that the volume remains low to ensure the studio remains at it’s usual vibe.
